★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pozdně barokní kostel, který z malého návrší svojí bílou fasádou svítí na obec Ctiněves a za nímž se tyčí památná hora Říp, byl postaven na konci 18.století na základech románského kostela ze 13.století. Je to krásné tiché místo, místo kudy kráčely naše dějiny.
 Late Baroque church, which shines from the small hill with its white façade to the village of Ctiněves and behind it the memorable mountain Říp, was built at the end of the 18th century on the foundations of a Romanesque church from the 13th century. It is a beautiful, quiet place, where our history has gone.

Below the south-eastern slopes of the memorable mountain Říp lies the village of Ctiněves, which is first mentioned in written sources in 1318 in connection with Blahout's reminder that Ctiněves. The dominant feature of the village is the church of St. Matthew that 13th century, which is of Romanesque origin and has been rebuilt several times.

Beautiful church, fits the whole landscape and the village. Very successful baroque reconstruction.
