Gotická cihlová svatyně je zřejmě dílem umělců huti stavějící katedrálu v Řezně, neboť zdejší kostel s ní má řadu shodných prvků. Kostel je jedním z nejpozoruhodnějších gotických staveb domažlického okresu a je výjimečně pozoruhodným dokladem vrcholně gotické architektury.
Gothic church of st. Nicholas dates from the 14th century. The Baroque tower was completed in 1724. The Gothic brick shrine is probably the work of the artists of the ironworks building the cathedral in Regensburg, because the local church has a number of identical elements with it. The church is one of the most remarkable Gothic buildings in the Domažlice district and is an exceptionally remarkable example of the High Gothic architecture.

Pro fajnšmekry ještě drobnost, která ve wikipedii (odkaz níže) myslím není - pískovcové vlysy pod střechou jsou ojedinělé tím, že proti zvyklostem tehdejší doby nezobrazují jen rostlinné motivy, ale i zvířata. Tohle byste opravdu vidět měli :)

For connoisseurs, there is a small thing that I do not think in wikipedia (link below) - sandstone friezes under the roof are unique in that, against the customs of the time, they display not only plant motifs, but also animals. You really should see this :)
