Baroque church of St. Wenceslas Square was built in the first half of the 18th century. It is a dominant feature on Kašpar Šternberk Square.

The center of the town Radnice is Kaspar-Sternberg-Square (náměstí Kašpara Šternberka). On the east side stands the church of St. Wenceslas (kostel sv. Václava), a Baroque building from 1720 designed by Jakub Auguston.

The brick single-nave church with a tower in the western façade stands at the eastern end of the square and forms its main landmark. In 1720, it was rebuilt by Count Kazimír of Kupferwald, probably according to the design of the important Pilsen architect Jakub Auguston Jr. The building is originally of medieval foundation - it is first mentioned in 1385, completely rebuilt in the already mentioned year 1720, other partial modifications took place during the 19th century. In front of the church there is a monument to Master Jan Hus from 1920, the author of which is the academic sculptor Vojtěch Šíp. Baroque church of St. Wenceslas in the Town Hall is the dominant feature of the town. This year, the exterior was renovated and the church really shines. My friend Vašek Suda also has a big share in this.
