It is a mining church and so on 2 altars instead of an angel there are miners. Milos Forman was there to film the wedding of Amadeus.

A dramatic and impressive sacral structure is one of the oldest preserved monuments in Jílové u Prahy (cultural monument of the Czech Republic). The originally Gothic building from the first half of the 13th century was baroquized during the 17th and 18th centuries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kostel sv. Vojtěcha je dominantní stavbou a budovou v Jílovém. Okolo je park a v blízkých domech pár obchůdků i třeba s bankou. Kostel je ve velmi dobrém stavu a rozhodně zatím nepotřebuje žádnou rekonstrukci.
Jen mi velmi mrzí, že v sobotním odpoledni nelze kostel navštívit zevnitř. Je uzamčený a nikde nikdo. Domnívám se, že tyto sakrální objekty by měli být aspoň o víkendech otevřené.
Church of St. Vojtěcha is the dominant building and building in Jílové. There is a park nearby and a few shops in nearby houses, for example with a bank. The church is in very good condition and definitely does not need any reconstruction yet.
I'm just very sorry that you can't visit the church from the inside on Saturday afternoon. It's locked and no one is anywhere. I believe that these sacral objects should be open at least on weekends.
