Dnes 14.9. se zde konala již tradiční tzv. Sousedské setkávání. I have a cottage under the Drabske svetnicky which is the gateway to the Bohemian Paradise .. Not far from Mn.Hradiste where we belong territorially, where the excellent management of the town hall. Dnes 14.9. the so-called Neighboring Meeting took place here.

Když jsem jej poprvé uviděl v bočním světle dubnového zapadajícího slunce, byl to silný zážitek. Kostel tvoří jasnou dominantu této části města (zámek je přeci jen kus odsud), a tvoří prostřední část pomyslné osy náměstí-zámek. Stavba pochází z roku 1726. Byl zbudován na místě staršího gotického kostelíka. Dnešní kostel dala postavit hraběnka Marie Markéta Valdštejnová, rozená Černínová z Chudenic, v letech 1726-1727, což uvádí chronogram na jeho hlavním portálu. Stavitel kostel znám není, ale bývá připisován valdštejnskému staviteli M. Raimondimu. Kostel je obdélný, jednolodní se západní věží s cibulovou střechou a pravoúhlým presbytářem,okolo něj se nachází zrušený hřbitov s několika vzácnými náhrobními kameny.
