Church of St. John the Baptist´s martyrdom is one of the oldest buildings in Semily. At the southern wall of the church you can find the statue of St. Jan Nepomucký from 1756 from sculptor A. Sucharda. However, this statue originally stood on Rieger's Square today, relocated in 1920.

Malý kostelík se skromnou výzdobou. Když si odmyslíte hroby okolo, je to krásné místo s okouzlujícím výhledem.
Small church with modest decoration. When you think about the graves around, it's a beautiful place with a charming view.
