★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tento kostel - svatého Klimenta - patří mezi nejstarší na území Prahy. Spravuje jej Českobratrská církev evangelická a otevřen bývá nepravidelně (najdeš na internetu).
Jeho stáří je opravdu úctyhodné, pamatuje už nějakých 1000 let. Není divu, že prošel mnoha přestavbami, že zde působilo mnoho osobností a že jako snad u všech kostelů i tento byl postižen požárem.
Oslavovaných Klementů bylo v dějinách více, napočítal jsem nejméně sedm. Svatý Klement I. je v tradici katolické církve považován za čtvrtého římského biskupa, to jest čtvrtého papeže. Jeho pontifikát se datuje mezi lety 92 – 101.
V kalendáři jej najdeš 23. listopadu.
This church - St. Clement - is one of the oldest in Prague. It is administered by the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and is open irregularly (available on the Internet).
Its age is really respectable, it has been remembering for some 1000 years. Not surprisingly, it underwent many reconstructions, that there were many personalities and that, like all churches, this one was affected by fire.
There have been more celebrated Clements in history, I counted at least seven. In the tradition of the Catholic Church, Saint Clement I is considered the fourth Roman bishop, that is, the fourth Pope. His pontificate dates back to 92 - 101.
