The monastery was founded in Bohemia by Bohemian grandmother Hrozner, instead of participating in the Crusaders. The Abbey Church was built around 1193 to 1232. It has a three-channel hall form, a horizontal, a main choir and two churches. There are two towers outside the west. This is the oldest building in the Czech Republic. Based on the atrium of the Bavarian space, the hall aisle echoes the Gothic style as a Bamberg. In about 1300, the original major choir solution was replaced by the conclusion of the polygon. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the interior of the church experienced a baroque modification. This is a striking building that shows the diversity of the Sino-European architectural era.

The Romanesque-Gothic Church of the Annunciation was built between 1197-1232. It is part of the monastery complex, and was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1721.
J	Jan Běla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jakože kostely moc nemusím, tak tento je nádherný. Hlavně všude mramor, sochy, spousta zpovědnic, krásné fresky a korunou je hrobka Hroznaty. Super místo a doporučuji navštívit. As churches don't need much, this one is beautiful. Mainly everywhere marble, statues, plenty of confessional, beautiful frescoes and crown is the tomb of the Grape. Super place and I recommend to visit.
P	Petr Šmíd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Otřesné, nepořádají prohlídky v češtině, Čechů a Němců bylo 10 : 10 a Češi jim nebyli dost dobří, těch několik vět na papíře oproti tomu co říkala průvodkyně zcela nedostatečné. Dále neustálé invektivy průvodkyně, že jsme navíc (platili jsme normální cenu!). Stačilo tak jako jinde přidat další prohlídky nebo komentář průvodce říci v obou jazycích, nebo ho mít namluvený a pouštět do sluchátek. Asi je jednoduší si vzít peníze a neposkytnout službu. Doporučuji za této situace raději nenavštěvovat. Furthermore, the constant invective of the guide that we are extra (we paid the normal price!). Just as elsewhere, it was enough to add more tours or commentary to the guide in both languages, or to have it spoken and put on the headphones. Perhaps it is easier to take money and not provide a service. I recommend not to visit in this situation.
