★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely castle with a very in depth tour. Worth a visit. They had a little exhibition going on in the courtyard while we were there with a falconer and guards "fighting". Great for kids. Also a brewery right there but we didn't go in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect for one day trip from Prague. Direct train go from Central Station to Krivoklad. Castle is 15 minutes by walk from station. Entrance is 100 czk. Inside is a restaurant, sometimes markets, and 3 shops with regional product like honey, ceramic, jewelery,glass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the outside, the castle looks marvelous. Beautiful and well preserved. From the inside, it's rather disappointing. Several souvenir shops are open in the central square, but you can't visit the castle outside of guided tours. In winter time there are only 2 per day... So clearly not enough. So we couldn't see the most interesting part. Not sure we will come back in spring to see what it can offer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to visit when hiking in this area. Not far from the bus stop and train station. Castle was open even in monday and you can take a stair up to the tower, but the shops and food stores were closed. The territory is clean. Definitely recommend to visit this castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many incredible castles to visit in Czech Republic but this was one of our favorites. Afterwards you can grab some food at a cafe in the village below.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggesting to buy tickets online, because if the weather is good and during the weekend there might be a lot of people and exhibition tours has a limit, so might be sold out. Unfortunately the tours are only in czech language, but still it's nice to see the castle from inside. Double check via phone maybe they can organize it in English if you inform in advance.
