Very poorly organised and if you're a foreigner you pay More for worse treatment (you pay a premium to read the tour guide notes yourself whole waiting for the Czech guide to let you in and through). The place is pretty but not worth visiting in the current state of service.

You can't take pictures inside, it's a nice castle the tour takes about an hour

Pleasant but the interiors aren't as interesting as many other castles in the Czech Republic. We got an English printout for the Czech-language tour and everyone was very friendly. The chateau gardens are definitely worth a visit, however!

Nice and beautiful garden place with a small zoo, peacocks and rabbits walking free around. A lot of blossom trees in springtime!

Quite and lovely place. Kid-friendly place where you can see the people enjoy walking with their stroller or with children. Inside, there is small zoo which made my sister (7 year-old) almost dying. It is much larger place than expected. Saw an train cost like €7 or something. I did not try but was pretty jealous when I saw people moving around on it. Would be nice to take it, too

Very bad experience. Before I bought tickets to residence I explained that I am with two kids 2 and 3 years old and i asked I that is in fact possible to visit residence with kids. The manager said - no problem. He didn't say that it will be a group 20 people with a guide what makes visit impossible as kids will not stand and listen. We spoke in English so there could be no misunderstanding. Sure that after 15 minutes on excursion kids started run and were bored. And of corse I was asked to leave the group. So I didn't see anything and there was no return of money. When I said that they mustn't sell tickets to women with such small kids because visit in fact is not possible the manager said "that's not my problem". So I have a feeling that I was fooled. Be careful! Make a lot of questions before you visit this place!

A there hour train journey to Kroměříž that is worth every minute. And no,you don't need to take a bus from the train station to the town center. Simply walk a dozen of meters and you will fond the palace natural park stretching down near the station. It's huge 60 ha space full of ponds and rivulets. Just make sure to leave it at 5pm as gates close for the night. The palace itself offers all original furniture used by its inhabitants, and presents brought by royal visitors. And do go all the way up to the tower. On a fall morning you will see the mists gradually unvailing the beauty of the main square.
