★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tkalcovna rozhodně stojí na návštěvu, zejména pak v létě o strmilovské pouti, když pořádají "Tkalcovské slavnosti". Spousta řemesel a rukodělných stánků. Vynikající občerstvení, pivko, nealko osvěžení. Prohlídky celé tkalcovny + odborný výklad.
The weaving mill is definitely worth a visit, especially in the summer on the Strmilov pilgrimage, when they organize the "Weaving Festival". Lots of crafts and handmade stalls. Excellent snacks, beer, refreshment. Tours of the whole weaving mill + expert commentary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na zaklade krasneho dokumentu na ČT2 zdravim rodinu Kubákovu ze Strmilova. Moje babička, dej ji Pan Buh vecnou slavu, se narodila v r.1922 naproti Vasi dilne a byla by dnes na Vasi praci velmi pyšná. Držte se a mnoho štěstí v další praci :-)
Based on a beautiful documentary on ČT2, I greet the Kubák family from Strmilov. My grandmother, give her Mr. God a real glory, was born in 1922 opposite your workshop and would be very proud of your work today. Hold on and good luck in your next job :-)
