Kudrnáč's I will teach the trail with nine stops (plus two info panels at the Poříčany railway station and at the Klučov train station) is dedicated mainly to children and was created for less than two years. It connects Poříčany and Klučov with beautiful nature routes - the two-kilometer route avoids car traffic, so if you take it with the whole family, you don't have to worry about your safety. It partially uses the ancient entrance road and winds through elevated terrain, from where there are sometimes beautiful views of the region. The author of the artistic conception of info panels is Galina Miklínová, a boy's graphic artist, painter and author of children's books. I had the opportunity to walk the route a few days before the opening, which took place on June 19, 2021. All information panels were still covered with black foil and some places along the route were waiting to be completed. The trail was named after the archaeologist Jaroslav Kudrnáč (1922-2008), who intensively researched the local Klučov fortified settlement on a strategic hill called Na Ptáčku, about 45 meters above the village. The NS route will take you to it as well. The oldest settlement here originated in the Eneolithic (8000-5000 BC). Another fortification was built in the early Bronze Age, from which finds artifacts from the Unetic culture. The younger early medieval fortifications were built in the eighth or at the end of the seventh century, which ranks Klučov among the oldest known Slavic strongholds in Bohemia. Hradiště probably disappeared in a violent way in the middle of the ninth century. The site was last fortified during the Hussite wars, when a field military camp surrounded by a moat was established here.
