★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kunstat castle has been used as a storage space during the communist era but it's now being restored. There are two possible tours at the moment - the representation rooms and the exhibition on the history of the castle with a third tour of apartments to be opened in a couple of years. We have only visited the first tour and it was very interesting though a bit short. It's very nice to see such a beautiful place being restored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old Moravian castle where in his youth lived Czech king Jiří of Kunstat and Poděbrady. The gothic castle was rebuilt to chateau later. Last aristocratic owners were counts Coudenhove-Honrichs in the first half of the 20th century. Now the chateau is under state control and it is open to the public.
