It can be ordered in advance, which is an advantage. But I had to walk around the station for an hour in the winter and darkness, which was not very pleasant. Unfortunately, on request, they did not recommend the restaurant, which is about 15 minutes walk away and it was worth it for coffee and warm up.

I thought that I would not write this review, but after what I experienced in this "circus", and especially after a subsequent visit (in the next two years) of a renowned MOT with comparison of results, I just won't give it to me. In 2020, at the time of the "covid", I visited this MOT during my visit to Smiřice, in good faith that it will be a routine inspection of my car (the first MOT since its purchase) and everything will go well. However, the experience was very "unpleasant". After paying the payment and administrative settlement in the office, I was referred to a technician who had to take over the car in the parking lot and perform the subsequent measurement of emissions + MOT. The technician arrived and after getting into the car with the strange question "where does it start?" the vehicle was transported to the emission measurement station. He then "jumped" with the car in the parking lot, because he could not release the electronic parking brake (which is still a mystery to me, how he actually did the "start"), here I had to assist again. He then drove to the station, where he just nodded at my request that I could be present at the measurement and closed the gate in front of me. I do not wish my enemy what followed. The multiple dialing of the engine into the limiter, the thrashing into something metal and, most importantly, the very loud manifestation of grossly indecent swearing (comparable to the manifestation of the legendary repair of the Lakatos tractor) aroused feelings of despair in me. After almost an hour, the gate opened and three people stood around my car with pensive expressions. The car drove to the technical inspection station with the door closing again without a word. Another hour of waiting followed, which resulted in the car getting out of the station, when the technician literally threw the car keys at me with the shout "it's done, you have the protocols on the seat". After examining the protocols, I was very surprised by the result in the emission measurement protocol (see picture). The car literally "crawled with a frayed ass" - I attribute this, according to the intercepted swearing, to the fact that the technician failed to connect the car to the diagnostic unit and the results, with the help of colleagues, "fixed it to work out somehow". Although the inspection was a few hundred crowns cheaper, this experience was definitely not worth this very unpleasant "bitterness". And the fact that I had to dismantle the permanently attached security camera, which I turned off in front of the technician (which was not enough for him, although this was no problem at all during the subsequent MOT), was just the "icing on the cake". Fortunately, I didn't find any signs of what the "patlal" was actually beating in the car. I would like to strongly warn you all: Avoid these slacks if you value your car and want to have it really checked! I really regret the visits to this MOT and it will definitely never happen again.
