A pleasant stop on the way from Uhříněves to Úvaly. The quiet village on both banks of the Výmola stream pleasantly surprised me. I originally came to visit the places where the ruins of a small castle from the 14th century were supposed to be located. Unfortunately, the remains have already disappeared under the younger buildings. Nevertheless, I spent an hour with a pleasant walk and sitting in the restaurant at the "Lávka" pension. The beginnings of the village Květnice are unclear, the first records come from the years 1352 and 1358. After the Thirty Years' War, the village is listed as desolate. After 1850 the settlement belonged to the district of Český Brod, since 1960 it was an independent municipality of the district Praha-východ, in the years 1964-1990 the settlement of the village Sibřina, since 1990 it is again an independent municipality of the district Praha-východ. Today, approximately 1,700 inhabitants live here.
