Nice village, but dramatically during the holidays especially for families with children lack walkways. The municipality should clearly invest in this direction.

J	Jana Pechkova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pokud chcete parkovat na Kvildě celý den, připravte si 200 korun v kovových drobných, pokud byste chtěli z tohoto místa udělat výlety dva dny po sobě, vezměte si do kapsy 400 korun v drobných. Obec Kvilda totiž, na rozdíl od sousedních obcí, nedisponuje automaty na karty ani na bankovky. Pan starosta mi pak s lehkou arogancí v hlase vysvětlil, že on mince v kapse vozí také, a že kdybych neztrácela čas doptáváním se, jak mohu ráno zaplatit parkovné a místo toho si raději šla rozměnit do obchodu, udělala bych lépe. (Doplňuji jen, že právě z obchodu mě s mým požadavkem vyhodili.) Nejsem z turistů, kteří by po sobě na Šumavě zanechali byť jen kousek ubrousku hozený za keřem, nejezdím tam ani s kolem ani se dvěma auty, tu krajinu respektuji s největší úctou a pohybuji se v ní ohleduplně. Rozumím tomu, že tuny motorizovaných turistů nejen nosí peníze, ale zároveň krajinu dusí a ničí, ale arogance není cestou, jak to změnit. If you want to park in Kvilda all day, prepare 200 crowns in small change, if you would like to make trips from this place two days in a row, take 400 crowns in change in your pocket. The municipality of Kvilda, unlike neighboring municipalities, does not have card or banknote machines. The mayor then explained to me with a slight arrogance in his voice that he also carried coins in his pocket, and that if I didn't waste time asking how I could pay the parking fee in the morning and instead go to the store, I would do better. (I just add that they just fired me from the store with my request.) I am not one of the tourists who would leave even a piece of napkin thrown behind a bush in Šumava, I do not ride there with a bike or two cars, I respect the landscape with the greatest respect and I move in it with consideration. I understand that tons of motorized tourists not only carry money, but also suffocate and destroy the landscape, but arrogance is not the way to change that.
