Lanovka Krasetín - Kleť

It is possible to get to the top of the Blanský Kleť Forest by chairlift, the lower station of which is located in Krasetín near the village of Holubov. The operation of the cable car was started on July 1, 1961. The construction lasted two years and involved Transporta Chrudim, Elektrozávody Praha and Vodní stavby Tábor. For the first time, we used tubular construction supports, new pulley batteries, including attachments, and a pulley with rubber bands. The length of the cable car is 1792 m, the elevation gain is 383 m, it has 100 fixed seats, the transport capacity is 220 people / hour and more than 3,000,000 passengers have been transported during its entire existence. At the beginning of the 1980s, more extensive reconstructions took place on the cable car - new electrical installations, new seats and replacement of all pulley batteries, including pulleys. Extensive maintenance takes place twice a year (autumn, spring), when the cable car is not open to the public.
