Janáček is a musician I love very much, who lived and composed also in Brno. Today his house is a museum, tiny, but able to excite. At the entrance, a kind and nice girl asks you what song you want to listen Janáček during the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly, knowledgeable and English-speaking staff. The museum is small but concentrated. As an opera lover who has read much, seen many productions of Janacek operas over the years, and so many opera programme books, I would have expected to find many of the exhibits familiar, but most were completely new to me. Absolutely fascinating and moving.
