★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vznik letiště v Letovicích se datuje do 50. let minulého století, kdy zde parta nadšenců vybudovala malé polní letiště pod hlavičkou Svazarmu (Svaz pro spolupráci s armádou). Později získal letecký klub pozemek, na kterém je letiště v současnosti. Travnatou letištní plochu využívá nejen klub LKLETO, ale také letečtí modeláři, kteří zde každoročně pořádají různé soutěže a závody. Návštěvu těchto atraktivních akcí lze vřele doporučit.
The establishment of Letovice Airport dates back to the 1950s, when a bunch of enthusiasts built a small field airport under the name of Svazarm (Union for Cooperation with the Army). Later, the air club won the land on which the airport is currently. Not only the LKLETO club, but also the aviation modelers who organize various competitions and competitions every year, use the grassy airport area. Visiting these attractive events is highly recommended.
