Letohrad

Letohrad is a regional railway junction. The electrified railway line Ústí nad Orlicí - Letohrad - Lichkov leads here. It is a single-track partially electrified railway line. The length of the line from Ústí nad Orlicí to Štíty is 55.8 km. The line leads from Ústí nad Orlicí to Štíty with a branch in Lichkov to Międzylesia. The station is currently undergoing a major reconstruction (summer 2019), which is to be completed in the summer of 2020. The reconstruction of the station will then be followed by the planned reconstruction of the station building, which is also coming to an end. It is to be launched in June 2021. A smaller city with beautiful squares and train stations, there are several monuments to see

Nice people, landscaped gardens, clean town, shops full of goods, nice staff. I recommend for a family bike trip!

I wonder how long the reconstruction from the EU project will last. On the other hand, it was needed. A station building with good service and facilities, crossing the tracks spoils the impression, but it will soon improve

After the reconstruction, the railway station immediately took on the beauty of Letohrad :) Especially for people who come to Letohrad for the first time by train, they will get a nice picture of the city.

Certainly worth a visit. I recommend

Railway station with facilities for passengers, ticketing, posted timetables, vending machine for coffee and chocolate + vending machine with cold drinks and snacks (with this vending machine it is possible to pay by contactless card, coffee is only for coins). A public bookcase in the waiting room. Pleasant waiting outside in a covered terrace overlooking the trains.
