This course provided us with a great balance between theoretical instruction on teaching and practical application with real-life students. The distinction between the modules of language awareness, methodology, teaching skills and lesson planning allowed us both a solid grounding in each area of teaching and access to various current teachers of English who were able to impart their impressive knowledge to us. Thorough feedback after each teaching practice allowed us to be able to independently develop professional and well-structured lessons in just four short weeks. The members of Spěváček were all incredibly helpful and welcoming, making integrating into the language school and life in Prague very smooth. Having finished this programme, I feel confident in going out to teach English to students of a wide range of abilities and ages. I would highly recommend Live TEFL Prague to anyone considering becoming qualified in teaching English.

It was definitely very challenging and intense, but I felt like I learned a tremendous amount during the four week course. All of the teachers and staff at the school are extremely knowledgeable and always there to help. They give you detailed feedback which is very helpful in helping you grow as a teacher. And the Spevacek school itself has a great atmosphere, with a library of teaching resources, computers, printers and anything else you might need to be a great teacher. Highly recommend Live TEFL Prague to anyone thinking about becoming a TEFL teacher!

The course includes a perfect balance between theory lessons, equipping the Teacher Trainees with useful teaching skills, as well as providing plenty of opportunities for practical teaching lessons. Too many other students (28 every month), not enough support and the staff just generally rude. I wanted to get a good meaningful experience and I am glad I went to Live TEFL. Small classes, there were only 4 of us in the course and teachers who seemed to genuinely care about us and how we were doing. I have now been working with the corresponding language school for a year and do not regret my decision. Prague is a great place to live, if you don't mind the cold, and Live Tefl is the best program in the city for potential English teachers.

The program is small, so you get lots of one-on-one reviews and information from experienced teachers, which was really helpful. Without this one-on-one experience, I would not be doing well in the teaching world now. During the course, we learned lots of teaching techniques and had loads of experience teaching real students. And since the program is affiliated with a big and well-known school in Prague, I got offered a job for doing well in the course. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a TEFL class that will teach them everything they need to know about teaching, as well as help them get a job once it's over.

The class was structured out very well and had all the info needed to really get into teaching english. Some of the classmates stayed in Prague and have all found jobs, and some of the others took their certificates elsewhere. My favorite aspect of the course is the real teaching experience during the course by working with students. Also you get support from the school before, during, and after the course with regards to finding work, or housing. The classroom is set in a beautiful Prague atmosphere and very close to everything.

They helped me find accommodation over the duration of the course. Once, we got to Prague, they truly made us feel welcome through Zoo trips and conversations over beer and coffee. My classes were enlightening as to the methodology, skills, and language awareness needed to be a successful TEFL teacher. The most helpful part of the course is that we had ample opportunities to teach real Czech students, gaining hands-on knowledge of classroom management and one's own teaching style. Also, we received lots of constructive advice in order to improve our lessons each time. Our classes prepared us well to start teaching English. Overall, I would recommend Live TEFL Prague for anyone looking to begin a career in TEFL.

All of the TEFL trainers are so full of knowledge and they are also really lovely people who care so much about the students. It was a very challenging course but you are given so much assistance and support from all of the staff. Not only did I learn about how to become a better teacher but I also had such an enjoyable time and made so many memories. I am so happy that I chose Live TEFL Prague because I think it is the best TEFL course out there :)
