Úsek Praha-Smíchov - Rudná byl uveden do provozu v roce 1873, úsek z Rudné do Berouna v roce 1897. Stanice nezajišťuje odbavení cestujících, to probíhá až ve vlaku. Přístup do budovy stanice není bezbariérový, na nástupiště ano.
The nicely reconstructed and well-maintained railway station is located on the line 173 Prague - Rudná u Prahy - Beroun. The section Praha-Smíchov - Rudná was put into operation in 1873, the section from Rudná to Beroun in 1897. The station does not provide passenger check-in, this takes place on board the train. Access to the station building is not wheelchair accessible, but access to the platform is.
