★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V okolí Babky je několik opuštěných lomů na bílý křemenec. Je zde i ohniště a příležitostné tábořiště. Šikmý strop skalních převisů umožňuje silové horolezecké výstupy, pro něž je opatřen záchytnými oky.
Lom byl využíván ve 2. polovině 19. století a opuštěn dříve, než by pohltil vrcholovou skálu. Poblíž vrcholu se těžil polodrahokam jaspis a zdejší jaspisy byly údajně použity k výzdobě kaple svatého Kříže na Karlštejně.
 In the vicinity of Babka there are several abandoned quarries for white quartzite. There is also a fireplace and occasional campgrounds. The sloping ceiling of the rock overhangs allows power climbing ascents, for which it is equipped with catch eyes.
The quarry was used in the second half of the 19th century and abandoned before it absorbed the top rock. A semi-precious stone jasper was mined near the top and the local jaspers were allegedly used to decorate the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Karlštejn.
