Beautiful piece of nature! It is not for strollers - the path is almost rocky along the entire length of the valley and it is necessary to keep an eye on where it is going, but it is definitely worth seeing. The calm, the creaking of the stream, the nooks like the wall calendar.

Perfect piece of nature on the edge of IronMountains, small, narrow but beautiful. It is a pity that he is not on the bike, it would be a nice trail. BUT NOT! Do not drive then, please!

Lovětín Gorge is part of the protected area around Lichnice, you can get here from Třemošnice and the journey is romantic, although a little more challenging, because most of it is over stones. So unsuitable for prams and people with reduced mobility. A beautiful path leading around a stream, whose water roars, jumps over rocks, around the uninterrupted area of ​​the forests of the Iron Mountains. You can walk through the gorge to the ruins of the Lichnice castle and you can return to Třemošnice following the red light. Beautiful place.

When you are at the castle, you can do about 4km around Zizkov oak, Lovětínská gorge and around the girl's stone back.Moc nice piece of nature.Recommended but without prams ...

It doesn't matter which side you go from, there is only one information board at each end of the gorge, at each sitting. We started with an inconspicuous path under the bridge (see photo) near the pond. There is no reserved parking lot on either side. It's just a short route, you'll be out in half an hour, but it's definitely worth it. Silence, the murmur of the stream, interesting nature (especially close view of the untouched forest), view of the rocks and treetops high above you and the stream ... You can take the dog with you, but only if it is well trained, it will have to walk close dogs, there is nowhere to avoid on the narrow road and in nice weather the gorge is quite busy. The route wants better shoes and don't count on a pram. Not for people with reduced mobility! In some places you are balancing on rocks or skipping a muddy place, the road is not flat and the surrounding forest is untouched, so sometimes you even cross a tree (and the whole route is therefore marked as "entry at your own risk" due to possible fall of trees). When you run it along the blue route (from sitting to the beginning of the red one), the red route (uphill) and from the memorial tree just down the road, you will reach the ruins of Lichnice Castle, which was a great experience!
