V úterý dne 16. listopadu 2021, v předvečer státního svátku, byly v zámku Josefa Hlávky v Lužanech slavnostně předány trvalé legáty Josefa Hlávky, Medaile Josefa Hlávky, Ceny Josefa Hlávky a Ceny prof. Daniela Mayera.

O možnosti vstupu, případně komentované prohlídky jest třeba se informovati nejlépe na webu. Zámek a jeho areál slouží představitelům české vědy a kultury, vybraným studentům vysokých škol, vedení vysokých škol, fakult a pracovišť. Obvykle je otevřeno v září v Den evropského dědictví. Něco málo z historie: Zámek byl přestavěn v r. 1553 ze starší, dřevěné tvrze. Počátkem 19. stol. byl barokně upraven. V r. 1886 koupil zámek Josef Hlávka. Pro nás bylo naprosto nepochopitelné jak mohlo nádherné vybavení zámku přežít komouše a válku. Uvnitř se smí fotit pouze v kapli. Opravdu nádherný vnitřek zámku.K tomu ještě příjemná slečna průvodkyně. Až bude zase otevřeno máte nás tam znovu.
