Dva z nich - Wernerův dům č.p. 184 a Knížkův dům č.p. 468 - s totožnými fasádami splývajícími v jeden objekt jsou kulturními památkami. Vznikly v roce 1882 a patřily k jedněm z prvních reprezentantů historizujících slohů v Liberci. O něco později vznikl jako přístavba k Wernerovu domu dům č.p. 183 ve Frýdlantské ulici v duchu vídeňské secese. Domy společně vytvořily jednotný blok, který v minulosti sloužil například i jako hotel, spořitelna, nebo vědecká knihovna. Houses nr. 183, 184 and 468, connected in the administrative building of the City of Liberec, is located at the heart of the town monument zone, near the Liberec Town Hall and the theater of F. X. Šalda. Two of them - Werner's house nr. 184 a Knížkův house nr. 468 - with identical facades merging in one building are cultural monuments. They were founded in 1882 and belonged to one of the first representatives of the historical styles in Liberec. The house nr. 183 in Frýdlantská Street in the spirit of Viennese Art Nouveau was added to the whole complex a little later. The houses together form a single block, which in the past served as a hotel, a savings bank, or a scientific library.
