★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jde vlastně o zříceninu kostelíka sv. Máří Magdalény se zastřešeným kněžištěm, upraveným na kapli. Původně tu stával klášter kajícných panen magdalenitek, založený královnou Kunhutou. Její smrt ale nebyla příčinou jeho zániku. Sestry kajícnice čekal krutý konec v době husitských válek, když táhli husité na Svojanov. Všechny povraždili a klášter vypálili. Místo ale nezůstalo opuštěné, stahovat se k němu začali poustevníci. Zřejmě i díky nim vznikla z torza kostela kaple sv. Máří Magdalény, chráněná zdmi někdejší středověké stavby. V roce 1653 byla opravena, později začala chátrat a za reforem Josefa II. byla zrušena. Poslední mše se konala roku 1770. Ve stejném období zanikly také poustevna a lázně, které stály u pramenů vyvěrajících u kapličky. Současná poustevnička vedle kaple je součástí poutního místa Majdalenka a sama jako by vybízela ke spočinutí. V ní může být člověk pár dnů sám se sebou. A možná také sám sebou. Všechno si ovšem musí donést. Potraviny, vodu, dříví na topení, kterým poustevna voní. Člověk v ní najde pryčnu, aby měl poustevník kam hlavu složit, kamínka, aby si mohl zatopit. Odměnou je mu opravdová a hluboká duchovní obnova. Poutní mše svatá se letos bude na Majdalénce slavit v neděli 22. července v 11 hod..

Originally there used to be a monastery of penitential maidens of Magdalena, founded by Queen Kunhuta. But her death was not the cause of his demise. The penitents' sisters were waiting for a cruel end during the Hussite wars when the Hussites pulled on Svojanov. They all killed and burned the monastery. But instead of being abandoned, the hermits began to withdraw. Apparently, thanks to them, a chapel of st. Mary Magdalene, protected by the walls of a former medieval building. In 1653 it was repaired and later began to deteriorate and under the reforms of Joseph II. has been canceled. The last mass was held in 1770. In the same period, the hermitage and the spa, which stood at the springs of the chapel, also disappeared. The current hermit beside the chapel is part of the pilgrimage site of Majdalenka, and as such it would encourage itself to rest. It can be a few days with you. And maybe yourself. But they have to bring everything. Food, water, wood for heating, which the hermitage smells. One finds a gutter in it so that the hermit has a head to put his head in, so that he can float. His reward is true and profound spiritual renewal. This year's pilgrimage mass will be celebrated on Sunday, July 22 at 11 am at Majdalénec.
