About Mala India Restaurant
Mala India je indická restaurace, ve které vám podáváme širokou nabídku indických specialit připravených z masa, zeleniny a krevet. Naším hlavním cílem je nabídnout vám velmi kvalitní pokrmy připravené za pomocí přírodních bylinek a koření. Přitom klademe velký důraz na výběr pouze těch nejkvalitnějších surovin. Naše kuchyně je zařízená moderními technologiemi včetně speciální indické hliněné pece nazývané „Tandoor“. Restaurace Mala India je pohodlným místem s příjemnou a romantickou atmosférou. Velmi uvítáme každou vaši návštěvu, ať již na oběd nebo na večeři. Existuje zde i možnost si objednávku vyzvednout či nechat dovést k vam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our dinner at Mala Indian restaurant on our first evening in Prague. We ordered the Chicken tikka masala, shahi paneer, chicken biryani, and butter naan. The chicken tikka masala and naan were absolutely fantastic! We had the chicken at a mild spice level, and the paneer and chicken biryani at a medium spice level--the medium spice was a bit too spicy for us, and had us gulping down water by the gallon (but even at that spice level, the food was delicious). The chicken biryani was fine--it came with a small bowl of raita. Our tween kids enjoyed the food as well--the naan was very good. Much better than the naan we have had at restaurants in the United States. The service was good and we'd love to visit Mala again if we have a chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow... these guys are next level. I came from the UK and I ordered from Grandior hotel, the food was warm and the food was delicious. The owner is such a gentleman, he responded to my queries, even rang me to confirm the order. Absolutely outstanding service and food. Highly recommend.

People from South East Asia will feel much more comfort than others.The important matter is the caring of the restaurant owner.Must visit place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered take out, just one dish shahi paneer and two naans. It was hot and quite tasty. My husband enjoyed a beer while we waited for our order. Shankar the front desk bar attendee (perhaps owner?) was nice and kind. We enjoyed chatting about India. The ambiance was very pretty and clean. Enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in Prague! The chef is reported to have a decade of experience cooking Indian food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prague not only has great bohemian food, but also many Asian and Indian restaurants. So there are lots of varied possibilities. Nevertheless, during our four-day stay we ate twice at the "Mala India" because we really enjoyed the food here. The menu is very extensive: from spicy, mild to sweet, everything is there. The host was happy to see us again and he is very friendly. We are going to come back next time. :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is quite big. The attention was a little bit weird, the waiter/owner was a bit rude at the beginning, but after he was normal. The food was ok, the portions of the curries are a bit small for the price. The bread was good. The mango lassi was extremely sweet, I could feel the pieces of sugar in the bottom, impossible to drink. They added a bit of water and ice and it was better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Indian restaurant close to the Prague center. Helpful host with great suggestions, asked us how spicy we wish to eat and checked if we liked the food once we were served. The food was delicious. We were a group of 4 and everyone was very pleased with their choices.
The prices were very reasonable.
We will definitely come back once we're back in town.
It may not seem like the first choice for a visit in Prague, but after some days of heavy Czech food this was a great change :)
