★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malé náměstí v Broumově, nedaleko barokního kostela sv. Václava a dnes už neexistující jižní městské brány, je moc hezky vyvedeno i citlivě opraveno. Najdeme tu mimojiné i sochu sv. Floriána, patrona všech profesí souvisejících s ohněm: hasičů, kominíků či pekařů. Socha sem byla roku 1857 přemístěna od brány do klášterní zahrady. Podle sochy se dříve Malému náměstí říkalo Florianusplatz. Na náměstí nalezneme rovněž jednoduchou kašnu.
A small square in Broumov, near the baroque church of st. Wenceslas and the nowadays non-existing southern city gates, it is very nicely decorated and repaired. We can find here also the statue of st. Florián, patron of all professions related to fire: firefighters, chimney sweeps or bakers. The statue was moved here in 1857 from the gate to the monastery garden. According to the statue, the former Little Square was called Florianusplatz. There is also a simple fountain on the square.
