Even though the restaurant is situated in an ideal location and the food quality is good depending on the dish, everything else is horrible for Prague's standards. For starters the tables are ridiculously small and placed really close to one another, already giving you the impression they just want your money and they don't care about your comfort. The chairs are small and overweight people may struggle for comfort. The staff is rude at best and incompetent at worst. We were sitting at our table for 10 minutes and even though we were 4 people and there was only one catalogue the waiter came and asked us if we were ready to order! When they took the first plates they didn't take our forks and knives and after a while they gave us new ones without taking the used ones in an already cramped table. When we handed them over to the waiter he gave us a weird look. Despite the good quality of food, everything but the goulash soup is very overpriced and in small portions as well. The "Chicken supreme" plate is JUST ONE small chicken leg with many grilled vegetables around it. The "beef tenderloin" is just 6 small slices of meat along with 6 tiny potatoes for almost 16€. On top of all that, they won't let you pay separately (so if you are going there with company be prepared to carry lots of money) and they even won't let you pay by both cash and card in case you don't have enough cash. As it seems "service is not included" (which literally means that the waiter serving you is not included in the bill!) so when it was time to pay by card the lowest possible "tip" option was 10% (on a bill of 1600 czk!), and the waiter didn't really like it when we informed him that the card transaction would be declined with such a tip. Of course when we left the place there were no good-byes, just some mumbling from the staff. If you just want to eat a very good goulash soup (for just about 4€) then it's a good place for you. Otherwise I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone choosing this place for their meal. You can find far superior fried cheese for half the price.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly and hardworking staff and really tasty food. We tried beef broth soup, braised beef chunk and grilled duck breast and all of them were really tasty. Given the reasonable prices I can easily recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Prague

Pork knee is burned outside but still cold inside. When we pay, we were forced to choose from 10%, 20% or 30% service charge and the waiter pressured us to pay 20% (He selected 20% on the machine himself and then handed it to me). Overall very bad experience.

Nice and very Cody restaurant next to one of the beautiful churches. Lots of local food and drinks.

We had a beautiful meal here on Wednesday night and we were so happy we did. The staff were very nice and always around if we needed anything. I got the half of duck which was a very generous portion, so bring your appetite. Overall it was a lovely night, great food and amazing company. Enjoy.

We've been there in march 2022. lovely pub with good burgers. we just walked in because it was busy with people (can't go wrong with that ;)). we ordered a couple of beers and 2 burgers. friendly staff, affordable prices, good beer good burgers. the cellar looked nice too. great for Events i guess. we had a great time.

Location is great just off a main square, chose to sit outside terrace, heaters and blankets keep you warm, seats very comfortable. Had the goulash in a loaf and was absolutely beautiful. Bad points staff are miserable I had a spoon with dried food left on it.

Good place, very nice and helpful employees. Very nice selection of beer and small local beer testing. We try only some beer and snacks, so I could not review the main dishes. But it is definitely worth to have some stop here to have a rest from sightseeing
