 Amazing place to stay, unique beauty of nature… Very many gastronomic experience and very friendly staff. Definitely the most recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strávil jsem zde s manželkou celý víkend a již dlouho jsem si takto nedpočinul. Okolní příroda sama je úžasná a tady doplněna skvělým gastronomickým zážitkem. Personál hotelu byl velice milý a ochotný řešit naše přání. Kuchyně pod vedením Vojty Blažka je opravdu skvělá. Můžu jen doporučit!
I spent the whole weekend here with my wife and I haven't rested like this in a long time. The surrounding nature itself is amazing and here is complemented by a great gastronomic experience. The hotel staff was very nice and willing to address our wishes. The kitchen led by Vojta Blažek is really great. I can only recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Když se řekne ,,Ráj na zemi,, tak po víkendovém pobytu se mi ihned vybaví Matějovec. Neuvěřitelná oáza klidu, nádherné prostředí včetně ubytování. Mistrovský um pana kuchaře, který si zasluhuje klobouk dolů, a třešničkou na dortu je skvělý personál! Velké díky všem za krásný pobyt u Vás!
When it says "Paradise on Earth", after a weekend stay, I immediately remember Matějovec. An incredible oasis of peace, beautiful surroundings including accommodation. The masterpiece of a chef who deserves a hat down and the icing on the cake is a great staff! Many thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay with you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Příliš často hodnocení nepíši, ale tady mi to nedá. Skvělé místo v kraji nikdy nevyprávěných příběhů z nichž každý vydá za dva bestsellery a pět blockbusterů. Pokud zrovna nebudete snít s otevřenýma očima, bloudit mezi okolními rybníky, rašeliništi a bludnými kameny, můžete se usadit na prostě vyjímečné a vyjímečně prosté terase v kvetoucí zahradě, dát si skleničku vína a číst si. V Matějovci 38 najdete právě tolik výdobytků civilizace, kolik potřebuje člověk, který už má rád své pohodlí, ale zároveň neztratil vkus a míru. Žádné přehánění, žádný cirkus, žádná přetvářka...

If you are not dreaming with your eyes open, wandering between the surrounding ponds, peat bogs and stray stones, you can sit on the simply exceptional and exceptionally simple terrace in the flowering garden, have a glass of wine and read. In Matějovec 38 you will find just as many achievements of civilization as a person who already likes his comfort, but at the same time has not lost his taste and peace. No exaggeration, no circus, no pretense ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Everything about Matějovec38 is brilliant. All the rooms look absolutely stunning, and as do the gardens. Each day is started with an amazing breakfast, served in a beautiful room. Everyone who works at Matejovec is amazingly nice, and you're always welcome to stay for dinner (and sit separately or with each other, whichever you prefer). We had the pleasure of staying there whilst friends of the owners were staying there as well, and it felt like one big family. You can choose to either go your own way, or meet up with the other guests and do something together. The surroundings of Matejovec are beautiful as well. There's something for everyone's desires. If you want to just stay in and relax, you definitely can. You can also go for nice walks, hikes, or bike rides through the hills and forests. If you're up for a bit of a drive, the location is amazing for sightseeing. Matejovec is located 2.5 hours from Prague, and 2 hours from Vienna, there are also a lot of smaller towns and cities that are closer and are lovely to visit.. Negative: If there are a lot of guests staying at once, it's possible to run out of hot water in 10 to 15 minutes whilst showering..
