★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Díky půlroční docházce našeho syna Vojty do státní mateřské školy jsme měli možnost pocítit propastný rozdíl v přístupu k dětem ve státní školce a v Malém Stromě. Nasazení, s jakým jde posádka Malého Stromu do každodenního boje za rozzářené oči malých kamarádů je obdivuhodné. V prostředí českých školek zcela unikátní fakt, že společně s tetami se dětem věnuje i strejda Luban, přináší Malému stromu další plusové body, zejména v očích kluků.
Po několika měsících docházky našeho syna do první třídy si dovolíme tvrdit, že děti ve školce získávají ty nejlepší předpoklady pro následné usednutí do školních lavic. Když pomineme důkladnou přípravu po stránce dovedností a znalostí, kterou děti v rámci školky absolvují, odnášejí si s sebou jedno důležité poznání: mezi učiteli a dětmi není zeď. Všichni táhneme za jeden provaz a můžeme si věřit.
Laťka je tedy nasazená vysoko, v Malém Stromě ji tak udržují a nám doma nezbývá, než se jí snažit alespoň přiblížit.

 Thanks to our son Vojta's six-month attendance at the state kindergarten, we had the opportunity to feel the abysmal difference in the approach to children in the state kindergarten and in the Small Tree. After several months of our son attending the first grade, we dare to say that children in kindergarten get the best preconditions for subsequent sitting in school desks. Leaving aside the thorough training in terms of skills and knowledge that children undergo in kindergarten, they take with them one important knowledge: there is no wall between teachers and children. We all pull together and we can trust each other.
So the bar is set high, they keep it that way in Malý Stroma, and we have no choice but to try to get closer to it at home.
