Very interesting stretch of river. There are fallen trees into the riverbed. It resembles wilderness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splutí Ploučnice je fyzicky poměrně náročné, ale je to zážitek. V podstatě celou plavbu točíte, podplouváte, přelézáte, rovné úseky nejsou delší než nějakých třicet metrů. Voda mírně teče (září) a není hlubší než cca 1,5 metru. Okolní příroda krásná, kempy slušné.
Navigating Ploučnice is physically quite demanding, but it is an experience. Basically, you turn, sail, climb, straight stretches are no longer than about thirty meters. The water flows slightly (shines) and is not deeper than about 1.5 meters. Surrounding nature beautiful, decent campsites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Miluju tohle místo. Jako malá jsem sem jezdívala na dětské tábory. Krásná a nezničená příroda. Veliký borůvky, houby na každém kroku. A ten klid! :-)
I love this place. I used to go to children's camps as a kid. Beautiful and undisturbed nature. Great blueberries, mushrooms at every step. And the peace! :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klidný kout s přirozeně meandrující Ploučnicí, pěkné trasy pro milovníky cyklo i pěší turistiky. Zajímavostí jsou opuštěné objekty, pozůstatky Sovětské armády.
Quiet corner with naturally meandering Ploučnice, nice routes for cycling and hiking lovers. Interesting are the abandoned buildings, the remains of the Soviet Army.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were canoeing from 11 until 17h. Only 1 place for a break with some food and beverage, some camp. However, first 2 hours of canoeing were really nice with beautiful nature around.
After that it became terrible. So many branches, bushes, trees in the water. Not safe enough I would say. On some parts very narrow and very easy to flip multiple times. I was totally scratched.
Not maintained at all.
