Closed when I stopped by. Peeking through the windows shows the space empty.

They sell variety of items, ranging from exquisite paintings done by a very gentlemanly person to tote bags and fridge magnets. If you are looking for gifts to buy for your friends and family, I'm sure you wont leave this shop empty-handed.

Great souvenir shop, with varying selection. Finally, I found a local place where everything that is sold, is quality goods made by Czech craftsmen and women. Recommended if you want good quality memories.

This is a new shop in Prague 1 close to Charles Bridge. They sell a variety of wood, linen, and glass products, all made in the Czech Republic. In particular the linen towels show a selection of historic Prague sites, and I bought 2 for my relatives. There are also hand-made shot glasses, with little figurines (flowers, fruit, butterflies,...) built in. Don't miss it!

Memories - Traditional Czech Handicrafts is a lovely little shop I discovered while strolling around the Mala Strana quarter (Prague 1). The shopkeeper said they had been open only a month, and that all of their products are hand-made in the Czech Republic. Wherever I travel, my favorite gift to buy friends, women and men, is a cooking apron. Memories' linen aprons (full apron 15 Euro, half apron 12 Euro) are made of quality linen and have historic Prague buildings on the pockets. I bought three full and 2 half aprons and am very exited to give them as gifts (and one for myself!). I also couldn't resist buying a few small hand-made liqueur glasses, each one unique. I had a difficult time deciding between glasses with inset fruit (plums, cherries, lemons, oranges), little animals (mice, dogs, cats, fish), or flowers. I chose glasses with lemons, plums, cherries and little mice. I love them!! They also sell delicious chocolate! Don't miss this gem of a shop when you visit Prague.

One of the problems in Prague is the number of shops selling products, many of which are not really Czech (Matryushka dolls for example, or caps made in China). So it was good to find a shop with genuine Czech products which are a little different. The owner was quite helpful. As well, next door, there was an artist who had his works on display and was working at the same time, so I could tell the work was genuinely his and local as well.
