★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádraží Merklín je kouzelné místo - konečná stanice regionální tratě. Budova je krásně opravená, okolí upravené. Je krásné sledovat jak se poklidné nádražíčko změní, když má přijet vlak - sejdou se maminky a babičky s dětma na vítání motoráčku a vítání cestujících. Na chvilku nádraží ožije, malé děti obdivují vlak a za chvilku už vlak odjíždí, děti mávají a všichni se rozchází do svých domovů a nastává opět klid. Je to krásné divadlo, které doufám vydrží ještě mnoho let. Škoda, že informační středisko v budově nádraží má otevřeno jen dvakrát týdně na dvě hodiny. Rovněž bych si tam uměl představit nějakou hezkou kavárnu nebo kiosek, je tam hodně nevyužitého místa. Doporučuji sem zajet!
 Merklín Railway Station is a magical place - the final station of the regional line. The building is beautifully renovated, the surroundings arranged. It is beautiful to watch how the quiet station changes when the train is to arrive - mothers and grandmothers meet with children to welcome a motorbike and welcome passengers. For a moment the station comes to life, small children admire the train and in a moment the train leaves, the children wave and everyone leaves for their homes and there is peace again. It's a beautiful theater that I hope will last for many more years. It is a pity that the information center in the station building is only open twice a week for two hours. I could also imagine a nice cafe or kiosk there, there is a lot of unused space. I recommend coming here!
