★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Important Great Moravian memorial showing discoveries and archaeological excavations of a former settlement built in the 8th and 9th century. Certainly recommend visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an archeological site, regrettably the museum was closed when I visited, but all the remnants of the buildings were outside and could be visited. They all had signs with explanations in decent German and bemusing English.
You can see a wall around the settlement, remnants of several churches and some other buildings. I think the museum contains some of the finer pieces they found, as well as a tower so you can observe the whole site. They provide guided tours when the museum is open too, which is certainly worthwhile. But even without that you can read the signs, look at the old buildings, and enjoy the nature around. If you are in the neighborhood and have some time, you shouldn't miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most interesting thing there was a tour with a guide who told us things we didn’t know before about Moravia and medieval times. I recommend to take a guided tour! The place is very nice to walk around and imagine how we’re people living there in old times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet place surrounded by nature with full of history. Near to the Morava river. Great for short easy walk. I was missing interactive exhibits a little bit. There is a lookout tower in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of history in this place. The view from the tower is quite good to understand how the settlement was laid out. The tour was really nice with a knowledgeable guide how explained to us a lot of details about the site and the life there in the 9th century. The collection of items found at the site is quite impressive even though it's just copies as the originals are stored in museums. We have also enjoyed the walk around the site to look at remains of the churches that stood there even though you can now only see the outline of the buildings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a historical landmark - there was a huge stronghold with many churches in 9th century. Though nowadays there is not much left, it was a nice walk around the bases of ancient buildings and I learnt a lot from the info boards along the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic archeological site and absolute must see for every early medieval and slavic history enthusiast. Large terrain of well preserved ruins of the Great Moravian capital Mikulcice, the first slavic superpower of the 9th century.
Nice view from the watchtower and picturesque surroundings - I recommend taking a bicycle to comfortably circle around the whole complex and jump over the river to the Slovakian side to see the little church in Kopcany which was within the Moravian borders 1000yrs ago.
Interesting souvenirs with decent prices, good guides and interesting descriptions of each object.
I wholeheartedly recommend!
