Přírodní památku Nad Dolským mlýnem najdete východně od vesnice Kamenická Stráň, součásti obce Růžová v okrese Děčín. Oblast spravuje Správa NP České Švýcarsko. Miniaturní rašeliniště vzniklo na druhohorních kvádrových pískovcích středního turonu v těsné blízkosti horního okraje erozního kaňonovitého údolí říčky Kamenice. Rašeliniště patrně vzniklo hromaděním srážkové vody v mírné prohlubni s nepropustným podložím. Natural Monument Above the Dolský mlýn lies east of the village Kamenická Stráň, part of the village of Růžová in the Děčín District. The area is managed by the Administration of the Czech Switzerland National Park. The miniature peat bog was created on the Mesozoic block sandstone in the immediate vicinity of the upper edge of the erosion canyon valley of the Kamenice river. Peat bogs are probably formed by the accumulation of precipitation water in a mild recess with impermeable subsoil.
