★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a spectacular piece of architecture! Still under restoration as of July 2019, but worth the trip anyway. You can enjoy the interior and the beautiful view of the city, and also walk to the zoo from here. There is a big sign indicating that photography inside the basilica is only allowed with a tour guide, but we asked and were permitted to take pictures of the interior. (You surely will want to, as well.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot up on the hill overlooking Olomouc. Panoramic views for 200 degrees and it's a perfect place to watch the sunset. Easily accessible by bus number 11. There are pubs nearby serving beer.
