Great trip into history. The tour lasted about 55 minutes, was full of interesting information. We went to the fortress on Sunday and I was surprised that there weren't many people there. Which is a shame, because the work this group of volunteers does is amazing. The guide had a very interesting explanation and it was clear that he understood. Great trip, enjoyed by both the woman and the little one.

A somewhat atypical two-storey log cabin, which actually consists of two buildings, namely 5a and 5b, which are connected by a corridor. The main entrance is at 5a - a loophole to defend the entrance, but it is not as usual opposite the entrance, but only at the end of a long corridor. Building 5b has an emergency exit leading to a diamond ditch - there are no steps or ladders (emergency exits are typical only for fortresses - this emergency exit was built in case the connecting corridor was destroyed). Both parts are separate (filter room (number of filters on the right and left side 4 - 2 for each), engine room, well - it was not drilled, but dug - each is 4.3 m). The peculiarity is that the log cabin is two-storey - outside it was only two-storey MO-S-6. So why was the building built like this (actually right and left and connected by a corridor) complicatedly? Bohumín, is an important transport hub in terms of railway transport and in the place where the building stands there is a railway line to Poland - then this territory, but it belonged to Germany). And this track is located just above the above-mentioned connecting corridor. For this reason, an underpass under the tracks was built near the building for patrol purposes. However, due to the construction of the D-47 motorway, several construction and traffic modifications are currently underway: there will be a road for car traffic on the site of the line - for this reason, the underpass will be reconstructed and concrete walls near the bunker will be built. For this reason, the current line has moved a few tens of meters sideways - towards the MO-S-6.
