I'm the tourist here so I have to adapt, I get that; however at the first gas station after the German border I expect some bilinguality to help out with the toll sticker. Lady didn't speak German nor English. Instructions were pretty unclear too. Suggest to preorder your toll vignette beforehand on the internet.

This is my review of the petrol station in direction from Germany. Not to be confused with the petrol station in opposite direction. Despite being operated by the same company and being on the same kilometer of the highway, these two petrol stations are like two different worlds. Cashiers on this petrol station are pretty unfriendly, especially to foreigners (non-Czech) speakers, to which they speak in a rude tone in Czech giving them the proper "Welcome" in the Czech republic. I've witnessed the cashier refusing to make a coffee in the machine behind her, pointing the man to the self-service machine. But to be able to use the self-service machine, you have to first go back to the cashier to ask for the cups, which are normally just below the machine. The café part closed at 10pm sharp and the personnel has been literally forcing people to take their half-eaten food and eat it outside. Despite that this place seems to be popular amongst foreigners, perhaps because it's the first cheaper petrol are long journey through Germany. I'd say avoid this place, especially if you're a foreigner used to customer-oriented approach.

This is pure robbery. You can't pay with card and if you want to buy vignette with Euro, be ready to pay almost double with 1h of waiting before. Exchange rate is 1e=18,42czk. Next time I will avoid this place in a big circle.

We stopped here to buy a vignette, which is required for using motorways in the Czech republic. We had no difficult finding a place to park - make a note of your cars registration number before you leave it - and the signage helped us find the vignette machine easily. If it's raining take an umbrella with you, I don't remember seeing a roof over the machine. The machine was easy to use, having instructions in a number of languages, accepted our Mastercard and printed a receipt. The vignette it sold us was electronic, so there was no need to stick anything in the windscreen of the car.
