A memorial in a housing estate between prefabs and garages. However, even a native Chebak did not know that there was a Jewish cemetery in these places.

Pomník, navržený architektem J. Šimůnkem a upomínající na zde od roku 1874 stojící židovský hřbitov a na básníka Hugo Zuckermanna, byl odhalen židovskou obcí dne 12.10.1969. Pomník byl zhotoven na náklady města Chebu až po zřeknutí se vlastnického práva k pozemku židovskou obcí.
The monument in the place of the former Jewish cemetery commemorates the poet Hugo Zuckermann.
The memorial, designed by architect J. Šimůnek and commemorating the Jewish cemetery standing here since 1874 and the poet Hugo Zuckermann, was unveiled by the Jewish community on October 12, 1969. The memorial was made at the expense of the town of Cheb only after the Jewish community renounced ownership of the land.
