Nevím kdo zpracuje místní čekárnu, ale prostoty někdy trochu zapáchají. Je to veliká škoda, protože rekonstrukce se velmi povedla. Dle otvírací doby se prostory čekárny zavírají cca 18. Nádraží hýří novotou, je bezbariérově přístupné a u nádraží je i autobusová zastávka s docela pravidelným spojením do Nového Jičína. Nádraží je také vhodným výchozím bodem pro turistiku např. na Huštýn, či Krátkou, u nádraží je přímo rozcestník. Jediným mínusem zde, je však to, že se zde neprodávají jízdenky, které si musíte zakoupit ve vlaku. Recently, the station underwent a major reconstruction, which is apparently successful.
