Our experience with the doctor - the woman went, after the birth beautifully healed, to have the intrauterine device applied after 8 weeks, she had our infant with her. After the operation, she called me to say that I had to come for the baby, because an ambulance would take her to the hospital - the doctor injured her uterus !! She pretended that it was nothing, but supposedly "for sure", for observation. Without questions, she had her bleeding wife transported to a hospital about 25 km away in Opava !!. We live in Ostrava-Poruba, about 1 km from the University Hospital Ostrava, which is 10 km away from the surgery !! Why? According to her information, she works there. No comment.. That this procedure not only damaged her wife, who she had meaninglessly taken 35km from her place of residence, but also complicated the life of our whole family, I had to take a vacation at work to take care of our newborn, she could not breastfeed, it was 70km to visit 2km to the local hospital, etc., etc., it didn't matter to the doctor. Also in the hospital, everyone wondered what he was doing in Opava when he lived at the University Hospital in his place of residence. The newborn's wife and mother spent a total of 3.5 days in the hospital "for observation"! Thanks to the doctor's intervention, she had to undergo uterine surgery immediately! He has 3 holes on his abdomen after laparoscopy, of which 1 wound heals to this day (3 weeks after the procedure)! We experienced several days of stress due to her health condition, you can probably imagine a man with the first-born son for almost 4 days without the baby's mother, and there is a risk of complications during the next pregnancy due to irreversible damage to the uterus! At gynecology, they then wondered how an injury could have occurred during such a trivial procedure. And what did the doctor do after all this? Of course, I did not expect any compensation due to the complications that caused us all my intervention and especially the subsequent procedure, I am too realistic for that, but at least we expected an apology. She called her wife, but only after learning that after this experience she was transferred to another gynecologist. Instead of asking for a medical condition, however, there was something strict in the sense of "I'm sorry, but it happens" and "I can't blame the complications in the hospital." That the woman had to go there because of her somehow didn't take that into account. To our surprise, there was a call to pay for the applied body, which, despite everything she had to endure (including several sutures of her abdomen without anesthesia), remained. Does it sound like a bad joke to you? Definitely us! Thank you for your human approach, Doctor! We will pay you with your well-deserved reward with warm thanks! And we never want to hear about you again!
