An old converted gas store has been turned into a 1500 seater auditorium.
Transport to and from the venue is the only issue you will have with it. I used Liftago to get there and back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for #TBEXostrava2018 conference. It’s a very unusual conference place as it used to be an industrial coal mine during soviet occupation. It since has been cleverly repurposed to be a modern, multifunctional corporate/academic center with tons of room for all kinds of venues. Be sure to climb up the Bolt Tower for a 360 view of Ostrava!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here for a concert called Ostrava Zpívá Gospel. It was fantastic! The facility is nice and they did a nice job of keeping the character of the original building.

If you happen to visit Ostrava you simply must visit this area. The so called DOV is a unique place you wont see around the world.
The Gong hall an excellent concert hall which gives you another sfere of pleasure.
Mostover, the Pecka Bakery which is situated next to the entrence is a fantastic place to have a coffee, sourdough bread or Napoletan pizza.
