Pleasant lady, beautiful nativity scene and a nice exhibition of ice paintings

Nice place but close to the center, paid parking, ... There are nicer towns in the city. But the museum about the city is beautifully created

Permanent exhibition Lanškrounska contains a lot of interesting things and information. In addition, the museum organizes a lot of interesting openings and accompanying events (carnival, etc.) during the year.

The museum is located in the castle, which was created by rebuilding the monastery. The buildings were referred to as a chateau in 1507, and in 1601 the renaissance reconstruction was completed. Today there is a gallery, a museum and cultural events.

On Saturday I visited the exhibition of Bohuslav Reynka. It is a unique opportunity to see the work of Bohuslav Reynka, who is one of the greatest Czech artists of the 20th century, with his works with ideas that are close to him and surrounded him every day, with his simple kindness and graspable ability to understand them. This artist, who made dry needles, monotypes and others in his tricky mechanical conditions, I once discovered for a long time because I bought a book about him. I was totally fascinated by his works that spoke to me utterly uncompromising, they dragged me into their stories, coloring, and the special message that I was told, for I felt that way. That's why Mr. Reynk's work is so important, he touches and touches every sensitive person, communicates with him and creates special feelings of peace, peace and deep joy, and I have had a lot at the Lanškroun exhibition. I also visited the exposition about Jindřich Praveck, whom I knew from Jeseník personally, was an excellent conductor of brass orchestras and a great friend of our master Vladimír Vranovský, who was founded and for many years led by the Dech's orchestra of youngsters at the Jesenic Art School. The concerts we listened to and watched! Classical museum with the history of the city. The museum's expositions and premises are generally smaller than at other city museums. During the tour, however, you will learn everything important about the city and important personalities from the city. Rather, I would recommend combining the visit with some event held at the local castle, of which the museum is part.
