P	Petr Izaj on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pocity z muzea jsou takové smíšené. Určitě by si výstava zasloužila lepší místo a ne zatuchlý domek. Co by si ale určitě zasloužila, tak jiného obsluhujícího. Ten náš byl vyloženě kyselý, že musel něco dělat. Feelings from the museum are so mixed. Surely the exhibition deserves a better place and not a musty house. But what she would definitely deserve, another servant. Ours was downright sour that he had to do something.

As a fan of knives, I liked to see an exhibition focused on the history and current production of a leading Czech manufacturer with a tradition.
M	MiS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Messer-Museum (Fa. Mikov), Verkaufsstelle Mikov und Tourist-Info Seit 1794 stellt die Firma Mikov u.a. Messer her (von Taschen- bis zu Küchenmessern). Firmensitz ist in Mikulášovice (dt. Nixdorf), ein Verkaufsraum ist in o.g. Gebäude. Darin integriert auch das Museum und die Tourismusinfo des Ortes. Das diensthabende Personal am Tag unseres Besuchs konnte leider kaum Englisch/Deutsch. Für mich als Touristen natürlich nicht ganz einfach. Das Museum ist in einer Art kleinen Wohnung im Obergeschoss, durch die man ohne Personal einfach durchgehen kann. Hier sind historische und aktuelle Erzeugnisse der Fa. Mikov ausgestellt. Auch ein Film ist zu sehen. Alles (auch Vitrinenbeschriftungen) leider ausschließlich auf tschechisch, insgesamt natürlich dennoch interessant. Der Eintritt liegt bei 25 Kronen (Erwachsene), also etwa 1€, da kann man nicht meckern. Eintritt und Erwerb zweier kleiner Taschenmesser war nach etwas "grummeln" auch in € möglich, das fand ich schön. Knife Museum (Mikov), Mikov sales point and tourist information The Mikov company has been manufacturing knives (from pocket knives to kitchen knives) since 1794. The head office is in Mikulášovice (German: Nixdorf), a sales room is in the above-mentioned building. It also integrates the museum and the local tourist information center. Unfortunately, the staff on duty on the day of our visit could hardly speak any English / German. Not that easy for me as a tourist, of course. The museum is in a kind of little apartment upstairs that you can just walk through without staff. Historical and current products of the Mikov company are exhibited here. A film can also be seen. Everything (including lettering on showcases) is unfortunately only in Czech, but overall of course interesting. The entrance fee is 25 kroner (adults), so about 1 €, you can't complain about that. Entry and purchase of two small pocket knives was also possible in € after a bit of "grumbling", which I thought was nice.

Je možnost i nakoupit nože i jiné výrobky. Včetně vyhlášené rybičky. Parkoviště je hned vedle muzea. Although the museum is small, the exhibits are many and a few curios. I recall some pieces from an earlier time, and some I have. It is also possible to buy knives and other products. Including famous fish. The car park is next to the museum.
