★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muzeum je umístěno v areálu Porta coeli v bývalém proboštství. V přízemí najdete expozici věnovanou klášteru, galerii, v prvním patře expozici mineralogie, měšťanský pokoj a krátkodobé výstavy. Nyní je tam výstava pověstí českých, která je velmi hezká. Pověsti znázorňuje dřevěnými sochami, dioramaty apod. Vtipné, zajímavé.
The museum is located in the area of Porta Coeli in the former provost's office. On the ground floor you will find an exposition dedicated to the monastery, a gallery, on the first floor an exposition of mineralogy, a burgher's room and short-term exhibitions. Now there is an exhibition of Czech legends, which is very nice. He depicts legends with wooden statues, dioramas, etc. Funny, interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Podhorácké muzeum - Muzeum Brněnska sídlí v budově probošství kláštera Porta coeli (Brána nebes). Ten byl založen roku 1233 jako ženský cisterciácký klášter. Je známý především bohatě zdobeným portálem románsko-gotické baziliky Nanebevzetí Panny Marie.
V muzeu je připravena výstava o historii kláštera a expozice paleontologie se sbírkou minerálů, hornin a zkamenělin.
Pro nás dospělé celkem zajímavé, ale s dětmi bych sem nešla, nebavilo by je to.
Podhorácké Museum - The Museum of the Brno Region is housed in the provost's building of the Porta Coeli Monastery (Gate of Heaven). It was founded in 1233 as a female Cistercian monastery. It is best known for its richly decorated portal of the Romanesque-Gothic Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
The museum has an exhibition on the history of the monastery and an exhibition of paleontology with a collection of minerals, rocks and fossils.
Quite interesting for us adults, but I would not come here with children, they would not enjoy it.
