Eine interessante Ausstellung informiert über die Geschichte der Eisenbahn rund um Friedland. Zahlreiche Eisenbahnfahrzeuge runden die Ausstellung ab. Das Personal gibt auch in deutscher Sprache gerne Auskunft. Access to the museum is via a path in the area of the level crossing. The museum is located in the former locomotive shed of the Friedland district railways. An interesting exhibition provides information about the history of the railway around Friedland. Numerous railway vehicles complete the exhibition. The staff is also happy to provide information in German.

Mají krásný model železnice. Moc se mi líbila výstava fotografií. Výklad super. Měli jsme malá očekávání, o to víc nás návštěva nadchla. Držím palce. Hlavně byl skvělý pan průvodce, velmi se nám věnoval a odpovídal na naše zvědavé otázky. We really liked the tour. We didn't even expect such a diverse range of exhibits. Zatím zvelebují depo s muzeem a snaží se o propojení železniční stanice Frýdlant s depem. Držím jim palce a doufám, že se to podaří co nejdříve. Dala by se tam provozovat aspoň nějaká drezína nebo malý motorový vlak mezi stanicí a depem - tím by se velmi zviditelnili, získali návštěvníky muzea a také další finance pro svoji činnost. Jakmile budou obce i kraj vidět, že se železnička stává turistickým magnetem, tak věřím, že bude ožívat naděje na znovuzprovoznění tratě. An interesting museum about the history of the narrow-gauge railway Frýdlant - Heřmanice. The association strives to revive this path. However, it is a long run. In the meantime, they are improving the depot with the museum and trying to connect the Frýdlant railway station with the depot. I keep my fingers crossed for them and I hope they can do it as soon as possible. It would be possible to operate at least some trolley or a small motor train between the station and the depot - this would make them very visible, gain visitors to the museum and also other funds for their activities. As soon as the municipalities and the region see that the railway is becoming a tourist magnet, I believe that the hopes for the reopening of the line will come to life.
