J	Jiri Mysicka (georg_cz) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doporučuji všem zájemcům o motocyklový sport a historii. Skvělé malé muzeum motorek, kde jsou nejenom Jawky, ale i stroje cizí provenience. Prohlídka je tak na hodinu, ve dvou patrech domu. Vše je moc hezky udělané a naaranžované. Pouze bych se přimluvil, kdyby ke strojům mohlo být víc technických informací, jako výkon, maximální rychlost, nebo závody kde byly nasazeny. Můj osobní favorit zde byl Douglas s podélně uloženým boxerem. I recommend to all those interested in motorcycle sports and history. Great small museum of motorcycles, where not only Jawky, but also machines of foreign provenance. The tour is for an hour, on two floors of the house. Everything is very nicely done and arranged. I would only intercede if there could be more technical information about the machines, such as performance, maximum speed, or the races where they were deployed. My personal favorite here was Douglas with a longitudinally placed boxer.

Více než 50% z celkové expozice jsou zahraniční stroje, to muzeum ve Svratouchu odlišuje od většiny ostatních v České republice. Návštěvník ocení porovnání motocyklů z mnoha zemí. Nacházejí se zde motocykly německé, americké, dánské, anglické, francouzské a také “klenoty“ české. Všechny exponáty jsou funkční. Vše je do detailu a hlavně s láskou udělané. Muzeum je umístěno v budově postavené po roce 1863, která původně sloužila jako evangelická škola, později jako presbyterna – evangelická modlitebna. Objekt je památkově chráněn od roku 1958. V roce 2007 ho odkoupila obec Svratouch. Docházelo k postupné venkovní rekonstrukci a koncem roku 2015 přišel místní sběratel historických motocyklů Pavel Šiller s nápadem, umístit do tohoto krásného a historicky cenného objektu muzeum historických motocyklů. Doporučuji navštívit blízký lovecký zamecek Karlštejn. During the visit we were lucky to meet the owner of the collection who gave us a perfect explanation, thank you very much. More than 50% of the total exhibition are foreign machines, this distinguishes the museum in Svratouch from most others in the Czech Republic. The visitor will appreciate the comparison of motorcycles from many countries. There are German, American, Danish, English, French motorcycles and also Czech "jewelry". All exhibits are functional. Everything is done in detail and especially with love. The museum is located in a building built after 1863, which originally served as an evangelical school, later as a presbytery - an evangelical prayer house. The building has been protected as a monument since 1958. In 2007 it was bought by the municipality of Svratouch. There was a gradual outdoor reconstruction and at the end of 2015, the local collector of historic motorcycles Pavel Šiller came up with the idea of placing a museum of historic motorcycles in this beautiful and historically valuable building. I recommend visiting the nearby hunting lodge Karlštejn.
