★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malá vodní elektrárna v Březinách u Děčína je derivační, to znamená, že využívá přirozeného spádu vodního toku který vytváří v přívodním kanálu, mezi zadržovacím jezem a samotnou elektrárnou.
Čím delší je přívodní kanál, tím vyšší je vytvořený spád, resp. tím vyšší je vytvořený vodní sloupec vody nad turbínou.
Elektrárna není veřejnosti přístupná, vede kolem ní cyklostezka Ploučnice, po které se k ní dá pohodlně dostat jak z Děčína, tak z Benešova nad Ploučnicí.
V těsném sousedství elektrárny je areál pražírny Caffe08, kde je možné ochutnat či zakoupit originální kávu s dalším občerstvením, suvenýry, vínem, atp.
Parkoviště pro zákazníky je přístupné ve všední dny mezi 8 - 16h.
 The small hydroelectric power plant in Březiny near Děčín is derivative, meaning that it uses the natural slope of the water flow that it creates in the supply channel, between the containment weir and the power plant itself.
The longer the supply channel, the higher the slope created, resp. the higher the water column formed above the turbine.
The power plant is not open to the public, there is a Ploučnice cycle path around it, which can be easily reached from both Děčín and Benešov nad Ploučnicí.
In the immediate vicinity of the power plant is the Caffe08 roastery complex, where it is possible to taste or buy original coffee with other snacks, souvenirs, wine, etc.
Parking for customers is accessible on weekdays between 8 - 16h.
